Alberta Young Adult's Retreat 2025

Welcome to our second annual retreat! Join us for a weekend of fun, fellowship and spiritual growth at Whispering Pines Camp. This retreat is the perfect opportunity to connect with young adults from other congregations across Canadian provinces and Montana, and to draw closer to God together.

Chris Crooks is currently the evangelist in Belgrade, MT. He has also served as evangelist in Great Falls, MT, and he directs the annual Teen Camp at Yellowstone Bible Camp in the summer. We are looking forward to having him visit and help build our understanding of God's word.

While we can all learn lots from listening, it also pays to discuss! After most of our lessons, we will be breaking into discussion groups to talk about what Chris presents to us from God's word.

We value the connections made at camps like these, so there will be time available to get to know each other over board games, sports, campfire, walks around Elkwater Lake, and more. Please see the gallery at the bottom of the page for a full schedule.

Good to Know

Americans will need passports! Everyone should bring a sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, towel, and Bible. Feel free to bring games for free time!

There will be no child care provided, as this is a young adult focused weekend and we are not allowing children over the age of 2. If you do have a child under two and would like to attend, please reach out. We have accommodations for young families, but they are limited so we can't guarantee availability without prior discussion. Please see the Q&A section to get in touch.

Anyone between the ages of 18 and 35. Those who may not be 18 yet, but are graduating high school this school year are also welcome!

Accommodation will be in cabins with bunkbeds with mattresses but no other bedding.  See images below for camp layout. 

The camp site also includes showers and flushable toilets. 

 Food:

Food will be provided starting on Friday evening through to departure on Sunday.
